Seasalt Cornwall is a popular British fashion brand based in Falmouth, Cornwall, known for casual women's and men's clothing inspired by the coastal landscape.

During the expansion of their menswear category, I was tasked with creating a packaging design, for their new underwear. The concept for the product and packaging was a humorous play on ‘Fishermen’s Tackle’.

The box design draws on Seasalt Cornwall’s signature illustration style, using a playful combination of hand-drawn and digital elements. Blue and yellow creates a bright and distinctive nautical feel. The illustrations reference traditional fishermen’s tackle boxes, incorporating fishing equipment and maritime details throughout the design. Illustrations are carried across every surface of the box, making the packaging feel immersive. Subtle humorous details add character, creating a light-hearted interpretation of the traditional tackle box while complementing the fisherman-inspired gift concept. The design successfully marries Seasalt’s heritage with playful illustration creating distinctive gift packaging that stands out on shelves.
